<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="4"><tr><td><em> Lovely Old English Antique Jug in fantastic condition</em></td></tr><tr> <td width="100%"> This Coopered Oak Jug with its original ceramic liner (completley intact) has 4 silver plated bands and a beautiful pouring spount fashioned as Bacchus (the god of wine) adourned by fruiting grape vines. Unusually and fortunately the sheild that would normally carry an inscription or monogram is unused leaving options for the next owner. It also has a hinged lid supporting and Ivory handle, the main handle for the jug is silverplate.
Yhe silverplate throughourt shows only slight rubbings comensurate with its age, which allied to the nice mellow patina of the Old English Oak creates an apperance of originality and adds to the Old Englsih Ambience. Offered with no damage whatsoever it is a very nice and original piece. </td></tr><tr> <td> </td></tr><tr> <td>Reference #: LA0123</td></tr><tr><td>Condition:Excellent</td></tr><tr><td>Year:1850/60</td></tr><tr><td>Country:England</td></tr><tr><td>Maker:English</td></tr><tr><td>Height:9</td></tr><tr><td>Width:6</td></tr><tr><td>Weight:4</td></tr><tr><td>Title:19thC Coopered Oak Jug</td></tr><tr><td>Style:Victorian</td></tr><tr><td>Materials:Wood,Silver</td></tr><tr><td>Type:Classical</td></tr><tr><td>Location:Dordogne, France</td></tr></table>
