19th century mid-eastern Chieftain’s quality Flintlock combination over/under Flintlock pistol with concealed dagger in grip. The rear portion of the lock is signed with makers name and barrel is also marked,possibly “Cinol” but characters are in foreign script. The pistol is nicely gold inlaid on lock and barrels with good quality workmanship throughout. The stock is silver wire inlaid and the grip portion, bands andtrigger guard are also silver. The blade of the dagger is gold inlaid. A simple sliding pan operates the over/under barrels. The condition is very good plus to near fine with just a slight amount of erosion and agingand most original gold inlay remains and is crisp. The best example of this type known to this cataloguer.
