19th century assemblage of associated musket and pistol parts possibly rural American. The pistol measures 16” overall with a 9 ¼” barrel of .69 caliber. The lock and barrel from a flintlock musket the stock is simplymade and is of a dark colored walnut or possibly cherry but stained dark with some refinishing and repairs at a later point. There was a brass band around forend which is missing and a brass ring butt is from aBelgium military flintlock of the 19th century. Consignor notes mentions possible Confederate use.
