<Our item number 126779><B>19th century Fiscal Instruments from the Territory of Colorado and 18th-19th century Fiscal Instruments from Conneticut.</B> Consists of <B>checks, drafts and various fiscal paper</B>. We note an interesting certificate of deposit from the<B> Rocky Mountain National Bank, Central City, Colorado Territory, Jan. 19, 1874 with a large Revenue stamp; several from Leadville, Georgetown, Golden, etc. Territory of Colorado.</B> In addition, we note several Colonial perior warrants from Conneticut: <B>June 1, 1782 signed by treasurer Peter Colt &#40;Revolutionary statesman and ancestor of Samuel Colt the inventor of the revolver&#41; and one from Hartford Sept. 20, 1781 signed by Jedediah Huntington &#40;Revolutionary War General&#41;</B>. Many have lovely vignettes and various Revenue stamps attached. An interesting offering that deserves careful scrutiny prior to bidding. Housed in an album, many with detailed descriptions.
