19th century European paintings on wood showing young boys and girls. The pair measure approximately 7 ¾” in height by 5 ¾” in width. One painting is signed on the lower right but not quite legible with dealer or owners label stillattached “Von C. Komst”. The pair shows some small scratches, losses of paint and are in need of restoration and conservation. Also one painting shows the same name on the label with the letters “BERL” possibly Berlin. The children arebeautifully painted and the eyes are terrific. Probably World War II liberated and recently found in a Paris flea market. Est.: $100-$1,000???
