19th century European cane-gun showing stag-horn grip, wood body with metal liner, approx. 8.5mm rimfire with simple breech-loading mechanism and smooth bore. The action is operated by a simple twist and turn and fired by a button trigger. The cane measures 35-1/4” overall, the cane portion is 33” and of light weight. An old paper label is attached with what appears to be Spanish names written on it including “Bacolon” “Dommago”, the rest illegible. The condition is good overall with some splitting to the top portion. The mechanism works when closed and operated properly. An absolutely legal cane gun that will only fire a rimfire shell and is made between 1860 and 1880. Est: $750 - $1,500
