An excellent addition to a collection of tinware!

An outstanding example of a tin kitchen tool hand made with
great attention to scale and symmetry. This Coffee Catch was
used to catch the last few grounds of coffee when coffee mills,
both freestanding ones as well as those mounted on the wall,
were used in every household in America. This handy tool has
survived with no dents or loss of paint, even though it must have
been used frequently since the mid-nineteenth century. The
handle is particularly graceful and adds to the charm of the
piece.
