Rare, original 1888 photograph of the veterans of Shaler's Brigade, posing in front of their newly dedicated monument at Culp's Hill in Gettysburg. Large 16.25'' x 13'' photo features nearly 100 veterans, many wearing their 6th Corps ribbons and two hoisting the 6th Corps flag. Photo was taken at the 13 June 1888 dedication of the Shaler's Brigade monument at Culp's Hill. Mounted to board measuring 20'' x 15'' which is significantly worn, in fair condition. Photo itself is faded and chipped at bottom, overall in very good condition.
