a) Celluloid box 73/4” x 41/2” x 11/2” – yellowed color with black and red card suits on the top, celluloid tortoise trim and under cover, 2 modern card decks plus a 12 piece set of dice; b) Decorative oak box adorned with Art Nouveau metallic trim. Most likely a silverware box. Inside has top shelf with gold filled pocket watch in case, three decks of newer cards, approximately 40 clay chips, a pair of cheater’s glasses, two sets of die, a glass gambling ball, and bar top spinner. Bottom contains a knife and dagger, silver flask, ivory corkscrew, pocket mirror, and a Belgium-made folding trigger revolver with fine engraving and high relief silver roses; c) Pair of cloisonné card boxes with Jack of Clubs and King of Hearts. These style boxes were put together, usually from parts, to romanticize what a gambler might carry with them across the country on their journeys to fleece the greenhorn.
