Beautiful shaded English blue and white earthenware bowl has scalloped edges and dainty handles. Made by W. E. Oulsnam & Son (1826-1882) who owned and operated an earthenware factory in Burslem,Stoke_On-Trent from 1872-1892. The same floral design in part has been used on both sides under the wide lip slightly worn with use. A pheasant is shown on one side of the bottom design,a butterfly on the other. The name of the company along with his hallmark is shown on the bottom. Sits on four tiny feet. The name of the pattern also appears "Winter Mullsion" which is also slightly worn making a positive name difficult. Tiny nick to the glaze only on bottom with two slightly darker spots in glaze as well from age. Color is still strong with no chips or cracks. Measures 11L X 8.5W X 2.25H.
