Late 19th century beaded bag. Design is two peacocks sitting on branches which contrast against the black jet background. The tail feathers are green, light blur, yellow and red. The top border (3/4 inch) is also made up of green, light blue, yellow and red beads. The design is the same on the back. It has the original clasp and chain. The original lining is present, but has normal tears from aging. There are no loose or missing beads.
