Rare set of eight Chinese Doucai enameled porcelain plum jars with lids; colored with red, green, aubergine and yellow enamels with underglazed blue; the body featuring figural scene featuring boys above a classic scroll; petal lappets above base; all marked horizontally with 'Da Ming Cheng Hua Nian Zhi' on the front with inscriptions on the base 'zhao de gong zhen cang yu ci' a gift from the palace to a minister; (in decreasing order) H: 37 cm, 34 cm, 32 cm, 31 cm, 29 cm, 27 cm, 24 cm, 19 cm
