DS “<i>G W Trenholm</i>,” 2pp, small 4to, Charleston, SC, Nov 25, 1867. A $200 bond issued by Fraser Trenholm and Company “<i>and certain creditors of said Copartnerships</i>...” With US revenue stamp. Boldly signed as guarantor. Also, <b><font size=-1>James McHenry</font></b> (1785-1845), Irish-born man of letters. In 1834 he was appointed consulate in London-derry. Partly printed DS as US Consulate, 1p, small oblong 12mo, Londonderry, Mar 25, 1845. Certifying that Hugh W. Kibbin, doing business in Ireland, is the owner of goods specified in invoice attached with consulate seal. Boldly signed four months before his death. Light general toning; o/w VG.
