Perazzi MX-8 S/N 45593 used by iconic T.V. star “Bob” Stack in competition trap shoots. See lot # 220 Nov. 2003 when Little Johns sold Mr. Stacks collection for his estate. Bob was a champion shooter from the 1930s through 1990s and was actively involved in training U.S.A. teams for the L.A. Olympics and other national events. Several of Mr. Stack’s guns are displayed at prominent institutions in the N.R.A. museum. Physical description: This shotgun is in 12GA with 32” barrel choked full and full, and hydrocoil butt stock added, S/N 45593. Marked “Mirage” in gold on the left breech. Measures 14 ½” to the end of the thin pad. N.R.A. “life member” sticker and “Stack” sticker on fore end also split barrels and upgraded trigger. 90%-95% overall in very good plus to almost fine used condition.
