Custom Winchester Model 70 bolt action rifle, .416 Taylor caliber, Serial #NSNV. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 24” barrel with a ramped front and fixed rear sights. The barrel is marked, “G. SIMILLION GUNMAKER” and a quarter rib has been added with .416 Taylor in gold. The muzzle and front ring also have inlayed gold ornamentation, while the bolt is jeweled and the bolt handle engraved. The finely checkered Walnut stock is extremely well done with an ebony fore end cap, engraved screw heads and double cross bolts for recoil. The butt stock features a gold tone escutcheon reading, “CEC” and ends with a leather covered recoil pad providing a 14” LOP. The rifle is topped with custom quick detach scope rings and a Leupold VarI-X III 1.5 x 5 variable power scope. The bore is good, the action is crisp and markings are sharp on this custom Model 70 by one of America’s top rifle makers. The lot includes custom RCBS reloading dies. Est.: $3,500-$7,000. (Modern).

All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express, we can not ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
