Remington Model 1891 Rolling Block Target pistol in .22 L.R., S/N P111 with “P” and “S” inspection on frame indicating use of Military frame. (See Flayderman 5E-063) where it indicates 116 made. The half round/half octagon barrel measures 10” and stamped “Remington Arm Co. Ilion, N.Y. U.S.A.” and .22 L.R. on the bottom of the barrel. High factory blade front sight and the rear sight has been removed from the frame groove. The stocks are somewhat coarsely checkered with inlay of wood at the center of butt. The pistol is in very good plus condition with 85%-95% original blue on the barrel and 50%-60% case colors toning to silver gray on the frame. Bright polish and nitre blue on small parts still evident. Bright and near fine bore. The stocks are good to very good with slight marks on the edge. A very nice and rare Remington. Est.: $1750-$3500
