<B>1999 Ken Griffey, Jr. Season Home Run #31 Game Used Bat.</B></I> Experts were still figuring Junior to be the eventual career Home Run King back in 1999, and with good reason. Before injuries began to slow his progress beginning in 2001, there was nobody launching more long balls than this supremely gifted slugger, who topped the American League with forty-eight the season this Louisville Slugger signature model C271 saw action. Griffey himself notates this bat as being responsible for "HR 31, 99" along with the 9/10 silver sharpie signature on the barrel, with features a scattering of ball and stitch marks. Excellent use is likewise evident in a handle crack (small piece missing), along with cleat and teal bat rack marks. Griffey's unmistakable criss-cross tape job is still apparent at the handle.
