This is a 1999 $1 Federal Reserve Note issued by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. The note features the serial number L18943227, identifying it as a replacement or "star" note. The obverse side displays a central portrait of George Washington, with the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco seal and the printed signature of Treasurer of the United States Mary Ellen Withrow on the left.
