A 1994-P American Silver Eagle One Dollar Proof Coin issued by the United States Mint. The coin is struck in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver and was produced at the Philadelphia Mint, as denoted by the "P" mintmark. The obverse of the coin presents the classic Walking Liberty design originally created by Adolph A. Weinman. It depicts Liberty in full stride toward the sunrise, draped in the American flag. Her right arm is outstretched in a gesture of hope and liberty, while her left hand carries branches of laurel and oak, symbolizing civil and military glory. The reverse side features a heraldic eagle with a shield, designed by former Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint John Mercanti. The eagle is shown with outstretched wings, holding an olive branch in its right talon and arrows in its left, representing a balance of peace and strength. A banner inscribed with E PLURIBUS UNUM is held in the eagle's beak, and a constellation of thirteen stars hovers above the eagle's head, signifying the original thirteen colonies. Surrounding inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER-ONE DOLLAR, and the mintmark. This proof coin is housed in a protective plastic capsule and includes its original United States Mint velvet presentation box with the Great Seal of the United States. Coin diameter: 40.60mm. Box: 3.75"L x 3"W x 1"H.
