"Mr. Goalie" did the first Butterfly, and Glenn Hall was born October 3rd 1931, in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Canada: Glenn Hall 6', 160 lbs, shoots left, did this great hockey player. To save $, you may combine this card with others: 1994-95 Parkhurst Missing Link Glenn Hall #46 Detroit Red Wings; start or add to your collection of National Hockey League players, with this as is one in excellent condition, near mint or mint, which is in French as well as in English, for your pleasure !!! Information: Glenn Henry "Mr. Goalie" Hall was noted former professional ice hockey goaltender, with his National Hockey League career with the Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Black Hawks, and St. Louis Blues. Glenn Hall seldom missing a game, was a consistent performer, winning the Vezina Trophy three times, and the Calder Memorial Trophy. Glenn Hall got the nickname "Mr. Goalie"; he was the first goaltender to develop and make effective use of the butterfly style of goalkeeping.
