Offered is a 1993-P American Eagle one ounce silver proof coin, struck in .999 fine silver at the Philadelphia Mint. The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman's classic Walking Liberty design, showing Liberty draped in the American flag, striding toward the rising sun with branches of laurel and oak in her left arm. Inscriptions include LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse, by John M. Mercanti, depicts a heraldic eagle with shield, arrows, and olive branch, with lettering UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER - ONE DOLLAR. Bearing the P mint mark, this proof issue displays frosted devices and deeply mirrored fields. It is housed in its original U.S. Mint purple velvet presentation case with silver Great Seal emblem, and comes with the matching outer box. A highly desirable proof silver Eagle admired for its artistry, silver content, and historic Philadelphia Mint origin.
