<B>1992 Robin Yount 3,000th Hit Game Used Baseball.</B></I> "It may not have been the crispest of hits in nineteen years, but I hit it in the right place," said the Hall of Fame Brewer of the triple that gained him entry into this most exclusive of Clubs. He became the twenty-first member on September 16, 1996 while visiting the Minnesota Twins at the Metrodome, a game during which this OAL (Brown) ball saw historic action. Yount's sweet spot signature and the notated "3,000 Hit, 9/9/92" have faded to a level of about 3/10, but nothing could diminish the importance of this witness to a milestone's realization. Letter of provenance is from American League umpire John Shulock, who acquired the ball personally from a fellow ump. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.</B></I>
