<B>1991 Mo Vaughn Game Worn Rookie Jersey.</B></I> In a trial by fire, Mo Vaughan made his Major League debut in a Fenway Park showdown with the New York Yankees, instantly becoming a part of American sports' greatest rivalry. There's a good chance that this was the jersey he was wearing that day, as he made seventeen put-outs in his first base duties but failed to hit safely in two official at-bats. The classic design of the shirt sports the Old English "Red Sox" on the chest with Vaughn's number "42" on verso. "Wilson" label in tail offers twin flap tags reading "48" and "Tapered" respectively. An embroidered "91" swatch appears below. Solid wear is clearly evident in tag wear and puckering of the tackle twill numbers. A 10/10 black sharpie signature on the chest, tagged with his "Hitdog" nickname, firmly establishes this representation as one of the finest Vaughn gamers in the hobby. <I>LOA from Lou Lampson.
