This is a 1990s postcard featuring a photo by photographer David LaChapelle titled Kim Basinger, 1997. SIZE: Approx. 6" x 4 1/4". David LaChapelle (born March 11, 1963) is an American commercial photographer, fine-art photographer, music video director, film director, and artist. He is best known for his photography, which often references art history and sometimes conveys social messages. His photographic style has been described as "hyper-real and slyly subversive" and as "kitsch pop surrealism." One 1996 article called him the "Fellini of photography", a phrase that continues to be applied to him. **MORE postcards from 1950s to 1990s (risque, nude, art sci-fi, oddities) in this and future auctions. From the estate of a big collector who traveled the world and had some very scare paper items. Many postcards from small independent underground printers in Germany, Holland, France, UK, etc.

We reserve the right to reject any bid. The highest bidder will be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, or in the event of doubt on our part as to the validity of any bid, the auctioneer will have the final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. If any dispute arises after the sale, our sales record is conclusive.

Therefore, when a bidder unilaterally violates the terms and conditions by not paying as agreed, forcing All Things Estate Auctions to use valuable time and effort for non-income producing purposes, a 20% restocking fee, with a minimum fee of $50, shall be applied and collected. A 20% restocking fee also applies to merchandise rejected by the buyer due to reasons other than misrepresentation by All Things Estate Auctions. All sales are final. No lots are sold on approval. Placing a bid is a legally binding obligation. There are no returns or exchanges. By signing up to bid and by bidding, bidder agrees not to violate the payment provisions of these terms and conditions.
