<B>1990 Bob Welch Cy Young Season Game Worn Jersey.</B></I> Home white gamer dates to the greatest season in this star right-hander's career, a twenty-seven and six campaign that culminated in both a Cy Young Award and an American League flag. Styled in the classic Oakland manner, the jersey provides a scripted tackle twill "Athletics" sloping above number "35" on the chest, with "Welch 35" on verso. Logo elephant patch appears on left sleeve. Left front interior tail finds the proper "Rawlings [size] 44" label with "1 90-2" embroidered swatch to the left. Wear is particularly noticeable with the appearance of fabric "pilling" at the center of the chest, where the pitching motion caused friction at the button path. Wear to the tagging is also clearly evident. A solid gamer from a season that will not soon be forgotten in Oakland. <I>LOA from Lou Lampson.</B></I>
