January 1989 Wood Retablo ''Immaculate Conception'' by Fr. Campion Kluczynski, OFM (1932-2008)., measures 2'' x 11'' x 14.5'', signed and dated on back of piece, FYI: ''George Kluczynski was born in Chicago, Illinois where he attended Good Shepherd parochial school. He received his secondary education and graduated from St. Bonaventure High School & Minor Seminary in Sturtevant, Wisconsin in 1950. Becoming acquainted with St. Francis of Assisi through the friars who staffed the school, he decided to enter the novitiate of the Franciscan Order (Assumption Province) in Pulaski, Wisconsin that fall, where he was invested with the habit of the Poverello and given the name ''Campion.''
