Stunning 1989 Osage Cedar Carving by Gerber, measures 22''W x 45''H, this is an original juniper wood carving in high detail by noted Carver. Bill Gerber of Oklahoma, features bust of Osage Native American embellished with beads, horsehair, both carved juniper wood and real feathers, stunning carved wood mohawk on a juniper wood shield background, signed on back by artist, comes with provenance, Artist Bio: ''I am an Oregon native and began wood carving several years ago. To me, my carving enables me to escape and travel back a hundred and fifty years ago when the great American Indian roamed the plains. I have carved using several different types of wood and found that I prefer Juniper wood above all others. Juniper is a very durable wood which grows in the high desert areas. I try to concentrate on expressing beauty, serenity and freedom.

*** If an item is materially different than was described by the Seller, Buyer shall have 48 hours from the date the property is received to notify the Seller. After the 48 hour period all items are considered as is, without recourse. No buyers premium or shipping will be re-embursed on items returned for any reason.
*** By bidding in this auction you are entering a binding legal contract to pay for your items within 1 week of the close of the auction. Non payment will result in a non pay warning. Items not paid for upon the non pay warning, will be relisted for resale within 10 days. You represent that you are over the age of 18 and can enter into legal contracts. Any Bidder that has never purchased from us, may be asked for credit card information prior to Approval To Bid.
*** The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser, regardless of the time the bids were placed. In the event of a tie between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. If any dispute arises after sale, the Company's sale record shall be conclusive in all respects.
