1989-D 1C Lincoln Cent--Bronze, Double Struck in Collar, Rotated Between Strikes--MS63 Red and Brown ICG. Struck on a bronze planchet instead of the copper-plated zinc planchet in use since 1982. The mottled red and brown color on each side somewhat interferes with full appreciation of the rotation and second striking of this coin. However, the 8 in the date is plainly evident in back of Lincoln's head from the second strike, and on the reverse the base of the memorial is angled down and to the left of the prominent strike. An unusual and quite a dramatic error.
From The Pacific Coast Mint Error Collection.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
