1988 Signed Limited Edition Print of Adolf Galland. Luftwaffe General Adolf Galland was a Luftwaffe pilot and ace who would be accredited 102 aerial victories. Galland would see action in Poland, France, Britain, and commanded the Luftwaffe’s air cover of Operation Cerebus which earned him the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords, and Diamonds, Germany’s highest military honor. He would later form the fighter jet fighter wing JG44, and fly against American and British bombers until March 1945. This limited edition print has a drawing of him in the center with the medal he received, his signature, and his rank displayed below the picture. Signature is clear and distinct. Slight stain on top and bottom. Very good condition. From the Michael Clifton collection.
