<B>1987-88 Mike Vernon Game Worn Jersey.</B></I> By the time that the 1987-88 NHL season had rolled around, Mike Vernon had already gathered much NHL experience and clout, backstopping his Flames to the NHL Finals against fellow rookie goaltender Patrick Roy and the Montreal Canadiens in 1986. By his third season he was a bona fide premier goalie, earning Calgary an impressive 39 wins for the 1987-88 season. From that particular campaign we present this white mesh gamer with desirable goaltender use. The red-on-yellow-on-white tackle twill Calgary Flames team logo takes its spot on the garment's chest, while verso identifiers are made up of a red-on-yellow twill "30" underneath a likewise-styled "VERNON" on a name plate. Numeral "30" is also found on each shoulder, the left of which is also home to a patch commemorating Calgary's hosting of the 1988 Winter Olympiad. Exceptional use is apparent in the form of advanced identifier puckering and staining to the right front shoulder area. CCM logo has been embroidered to rear tail and the inner fight strap remains attached.
