<B>1986 George Brett Game Used Bat.</B></I> Dating from the eleventh of thirteen consecutive All-Star seasons comes this signature model Louisville Slugger T85, exhibiting heavy use from the Kansas City Royals Hall of Famer. Grain separation on the back of the barrel tells the story of brutal use, with many ball and stitch marks clearly evident. As one would expect from Brett, a considerable coating of pine tar appears at mid-handle. Number "5" is markered for identification on knob end. A black sharpie signature from Brett (10/10) includes a "1986" notation, dating the bat to the end of the 1983-86 labeling period. Weight and length of twenty-nine and a half ounces and thirty-four and a half inches are correct for Brett's specifications. Uncracked. Graded GU8.5. <I>LOA from Taube & Malta.
