This is a Browning Model 92 Montana Highway Patrol commemorative lever action rifle manufactured in 1982. The rifle is chambered in the .357 Magnum caliber. The rifle commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Montana Highway Patrol which was established in 1935. The rifle has solid walnut hardwood stocks with a blued barrel and receiver. The receiver features special engraving on both sides including the arrowhead logo of the Montana Highway Patrol Association and a Montana Highway Patrol badge. The barrel is marked "Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah & Montral Q.P." and "Browning-92 Caliber: .357 Magnum". The Montana Highway Patrol commemorative rifle is in very good condition. Serial number 08185PY167 manufactured in 1982. This is a modern firearm and requires FFL or NICS background to transfer. The rifle measures 37.5" with a 20" barrel.
