<B>1984-85 Jim Rice Game Used Bat.</B></I> Perhaps the only batter that had a better ten-year stretch with the Boston Red Sox than Jim Rice was Ted Williams. Rice came up and was rookie of the year and his career included being named Most Valuable Player in 1978. We offer a Louisville Slugger signature model R206 bat that shows evidence of tremendous use with a handle crack. The barrel is covered with ball and stitch marks. Also visible on the bat are cleat marks, red bat rack streaks and a moderate coat of pine tar on the handle. It looks like the numbers "20" and "26" have been marked over in blue marker on the knob. The initials "J.R." are written on the knob. Rice has autographed the front barrel in blue marker. It is graded GU 5 by PSA. <I>LOA from Taube & Malta. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
