<B>1981-S Dime, Type One--Double Struck, Obverse Indent on 2nd Strike--PR68 Ultra Cameo NGC.</B></I> An amazing proof Roosevelt dime mint error. The first strike was perfect, but a subsequent closing of the dies--proofs are struck multiple times--was interrupted by a blank dime planchet. Dramatically, the obverse area from 7 o'clock to 11 o'clock was thinned and drawn upward, resulting in the flattening and elongation of Roosevelt's portrait. Ghost images of the obverse can be seen on the reverse, and vice versa. And to top it all off, this piece was graded PR68 Ultra Cameo by NGC.<BR><BR><B>Coin Engraver:</B> John R.
