<B>1981-P 5C Jefferson Nickel--Obverse Struck Through Split Cap Die--MS61 NGC.</B></I> The obverse die is bisected by a heavy vertical crack that split the die into two pieces. The obverse is softly struck, particularly at the center, and there are strike throughs along the profile and near the first 1 in the date.
