1981 Larry Bird NBA Championship Salesman's Samp
1981 Larry Bird NBA Championship Salesman's Sample Ring. "I don't know if I practiced more than anybody," Bird once said, "but I sure practiced enough. I still wonder if somebody, somewhere, was practicing more than me." All of that practice finally made perfect in 1981, when the lanky kid from French Lick led his Boston Celtics to the first NBA Championship of his Hall of Fame career. This is the ring that Balfour designed for the occasion, identical in appearance to the one that was presented to the superstar forward. The ten-karat gold prize sports a faux diamond at center of the face, set in a green stone and surrounded by the raised text, "NBA World Champions." The left shank offers the NBA logo and year "1981," while the right provides an engraved "Bird" and a logo shamrock reading "XIV Celtics," noting the fourteenth team Championship. The word "Pride" is engraved below. "Balfour 10K" is stamped inside the band, which measures to a size ten. Mint condition, in original box.

Shipping: Miscellaneous Collectibles, Smal (view shipping information)
