Inside the front tail of the jersey is a "SET 1 1981" flag tag. On the front left breast of the jersey is the Montreal Expos "M" logo in red, white, and blue tackle twill. Below is the team name "EXPOS" in blue tackle twill. On the right breast is the player number "8" in blue tackle twill. On the back of the jersey is the player number "8" in blue tackle. Across the back of the jersey is the player name "CARTER" in blue tackle twill sewn directly on the jersey. On the left sleeve is the "Montreal 1982 All-Star Game" patch. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
