<B>1981-82 Danny Gare Game Worn Jersey.</B></I> Though many will remember the 17-year career of Danny Gare for his dynamite goalscoring days with the Buffalo Sabres, he also enjoyed some great seasons with the Detroit Red Wings, beginning in the middle of the 1981-82 season during which he was traded. From the year of Gare's trade we present this top-quality red mesh Red Wings gamer, a thoroughly impressive example with ample evidence of game use. The classic "winged wheel" logo, with thread tattering and some puckering of the red tackle twill, is mounted on the jersey's front along with a patch honoring 50 years of ownership under the Norris family. White twill identifiers are attached to the verso to read "GARE" on a nameplate above the jersey numerals "18", which also appear in smaller form at each shoulder. All identifiers exhibit ample fraying and puckering and have been appropriately stained given the heavy use. Board burns and slash marks pepper each of the garment's sleeves, with a small team repair in the left arm.
