1980s Framed Miller High Life Advertising Sign
For your consideration is this framed Miller High Life mirror advertising sign circa. 1980s. In 1903, the company introduced its flagship brand, “Miller High Life,” which they began billing as “The Champagne of Bottled Beer” and advertising with the iconic “Girl on the Moon” in 1907. The sign shows a dark wood frame and a black mirrored background. In the center of the sign it shows a woman in an American flag style dress and hat holding a Miller beer in her right hand and a full glass in her left hand as she sits on a crescent moon. Surrounding her and the moon are golden stars and a decorative gold border showing intricate designs. Above the moon and woman, it shows "Miller" in red lettering, and below the moon and woman it reads "High Life" in gold lettering. Below "High Life" in small black lettering it reads, "01-22212 © 1980 Miller Brewing Co., Milwaukee, WI". The sign shows good condition with no signs of damage. The piece measures 18 3/4" L x 19" W.
