<B>1980's Payne Stewart Tournament Used Golf Bag.</B></I> U.S. Air Force pilots could do nothing but helplessly shadow the doomed Lear Jet carrying Stewart and five others as an apparent pressure loss rendered all pilots and passengers on the plane unconscious and ultimately sent the plane plunging to the ground when the fuel supply was depleted. The tragic October 25, 1999 crash near Mina, South Dakota put an end to one of the finest careers in golf, leaving us all with nothing but memories of the man in matching knickers and golf hats who was ranked eighth in the world at the time of his passing. Important artifact from a career and life that ended too soon was acquired from a friend of Stewart's shortly before the plane crash that took the golfer's life. The black and white leather "Titleist" bag shows definite use, and is emblazoned with a white block lettered "Payne Stewart" on the back.
