<B>1980's Mickey Mantle Signed Vintage Store Model Bat.</B></I> Worth a pretty penny in its unsigned state, this Mint condition 1965-68 Mantle store model Hillerich & Bradsby ups the ante with the addition of a 9/10 blue sharpie signature from its celebrity endorser. As most baseball autograph collectors are aware, the Mick had a particular aversion toward signing bats, charging an astronomical fee in order to dissuade signature seekers from requesting them. The resultant thin supply has left collectors scrambling for the top examples, a characterization that certainly applies here.
