<B>1980 Rod Carew Game Worn Jersey.</B></I> A fourteenth All-Star season for this Hall of Famer and 3,000 Hit Club member. Home white knit pullover jersey exhibits consistent and outstanding wear, particularly visible in the sweat-puckering of the "Angels 29" on the chest and number "29" on verso. Haloed California state patch appears on left sleeve. Lower right tail offers "Wilson [size] 42" tag, with embroidered "80" year swatch just above. Signed on upper left chest to former Angels staffer and long time hobbyist Bob Case, "To Bob, Best Wishes, Rod Carew" in 10/10 black sharpie. Minor staining on front and verso does little to detract from the considerable appeal of this Cooperstown quality artifact. <I>LOA from Lou Lampson. LOA from PSA/DNA.</B></I>
