Genuine gamer from the fourteen-season Islanders veteran dates to the first of four consecutive Stanley Cup seasons, a time when "Mr. Islander" was earning a reputation as one of the game's greatest clutch performers. The Victoriaville Ultra stick exhibits fine use, with "Nystrom" in block lettering on upper shaft and original tape at blade and handle end. A faded number "23" appears in marker at upper handle as well. Decorating the stick are the blue ink autographs of sixteen players who earned the first of four consecutive Stanley Cup Championships for the Islanders, including Nystrom himself, Trottier, Bossy, Gillies, Potvin and Bourne.
