<B>1977-D 50C Kennedy Half--Struck on 40% Silver Planchet--MS64 PCGS.</B></I> This variety is mentioned in the 2007 <I>Guide Book:</B></I> "A few of the pieces dated 1971-D and 1977-D were struck in silver clad composition by error." The planchets were intended for 1976-S Bicentennial halves. This lustrous piece is lightly toned in golden-brown and apple-green freckles.
