1977 Big Horn Sheep Bronze by Bill McCown. Sculpted in 1977 and entitled ''The Sentinel''. Measures 7'' x 7'' x 5''. Mounted on a mahogany block which has been shaped to fit the base of the bronze. It is marked on the side ''The Sentinel'' ''2/25'' which indicates that this is a limited edition of 25. The sculptor's name in on the piece ''McCown'' with a ''triangle'' symbol. Beautiful natural patina on this bronze! Artist Bio: ''Bill McCown of Kelso, WA is a sculptor of historical western, Indian, and animal studies. Numerous commissions including outdoor monuments and several museum collections.'' ''The bronzes I sculpt are cast in silicon bronze and finished in the traditional manner using brown tones and in some cases a polychrome finish. All pieces are thoroughly researched and given careful attention to detail which has resulted in numerous commissions including several museum collections.''

After the 48 hour period all items are considered as is, without recourse. No buyers premium or shipping will be re-embursed on items returned for any reason.

*** The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser, regardless of the time the bids were placed. In the event of a tie between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute.
