<B>1976-S $1 Silver PR70 Deep Cameo PCGS.</B></I> This is the Variety One design, as are all silver proofs of this date. In 1975 and 1976 (all dated 1976), special commemorative reverse designs were prepared for the three largest denominations, each emblematic of our national independence. The silver dollar carried a depiction of the Liberty Bell, with the moon in the background. This piece is a perfect proof example, one of a few that are so certified by PCGS.
