1975 Bernie Parent Game Worn All-Star Jersey
1975 Bernie Parent Game Worn All-Star Jersey. Following his return to the NHL from the burgeoning World Hockey Association in 1973, Bernie Parent enjoyed one of the best stretches of his career. His prowess in the net earned him the Vezina and Conn Smythe Trophies in both 1974 and 1975 in addition to his All-Star berths. The All-Star jersey that we present here was worn by Parent in the 1975 All-Star Game -- a fine orange Gerry Cosby shirt with expected moderate All-Star wear. A large embroidered NHL logo dominates the chest and is flanked by smaller logos set atop white tackle twill stars. Twill stars also encircle the waist and are found at each elbow. Black-on-white numeral "1" can be found on verso and on each shoulder, while "PARENT" in black twill outlined in white stitching is sewn directly to the jersey back. All twill identifiers exhibit pronounced puckering and the rear numeral has some nice abrasion marks. Puck marks can be found at the front chest. Fine Hall of Fame All-Star jersey from Parent in his prime. Stick comes directly from the penalty box attendant in Winnipeg who was personally given the stick by Parent. LOA from Rich Ellis.
