The standard 8.5x14" document begins with the earthshaking words "The University of Notre Dame Awards to Joseph C. Montana a Grant-in-Aid covering Full-Football for the Academic Year(s) 1975-76." The eighteen-year old phenom's full "Joseph C. Montana" autograph is a perfect 10/10 at the close. Included are several newspaper clippings with titles like "Notre Dame gets Montana of Ringgold" and "Montana Going to Notre Dame," each with photos of the long-haired youngster signing the paper we present here.
