1974 Ford Ranchero GT. This car is a one of one as evidenced by the included Elite Marti Report. Of the 461,012 Ford Torinos built in 1974, this is the only one built with these options which include 460-4V engine, C-6 automatic transmission, factory Air Conditioning and Class ll Trailer Tow Package. The car was purchased in California in 2017 just 50 miles away from the dealer that sold it new in 1974. It was sold new in Hollywood and was a southern California car for its entire life. The previous owner provided complete maintenance records for the car that confirm the true mileage of around 51,000. The restoration began in 2018 and was completed in 2020, just in time to compete in the Calgary World of Wheels where it won 1st place in its class. The engine and transmission were completely rebuilt during the restoration and the carburetor was replaced with FITECH fuel injection to improve driveability. The underside of the car remains completely original, right down to the factory applied undercoating. There is one small patch in the floor behind the driver's seat due to rust repair. The rest of the body is 100% Ford steel. The paint is PPG White Platinum Pearl, Ford Code UG, and the graphics are vinyl so they can be removed if they don't suit your taste. The interior is completely new and supplied by Dearborn Classics. The factory radio has been replaced with a modern system from Retro Sound and includes Bluetooth capability. All of the aluminum and stainless-steel trim were professionally repaired and polished. The front bumper, bumper guards, headlight bezels and taillight bezels were all re-chromed. The wheels are American Racing Torq Thrusts wrapped in Mickey Thompson Sportsman ST radials. The car has been driven less than 100 kms since full restoration.
