<B>1972-D 5C Jefferson Nickel--Obverse Die Break--MS66 NGC.</B></I> JNC-72D-7E. A huge cud occupies the obverse border between 9:30 and 1 o'clock, swallowing TRUST and the top of Jefferson's hair. The cud presses against his forehead. The strike is soft on the reverse between 5 and 8 o'clock, as expected due to metal flow into the big die break.
